Android Notifier Lets You Know When You Have a Text Message–On Your Computer

Here is something completely innovative: An app that notifies you of text messages, voicemail, and battery info–on your desktop!! It requires that you install the app on your android and your Linux/Mac/Windows, and setup the phone and computer on the same network, or via bluetooth. After both apps are installed, pair the devices if using bluetooth or set-up wifi. On the desktop application, there are a variety of options available, including selecting what can be sent to your desktop, such as sms, mms, incoming calls, and voicemails. And, if you have multiple computers using your network, it gives you the option of adding only the device it should “listen” to, as illustrated in the screen shot below.

For the desktop app, install the version specific to your OS. Also, if you are using a Mac, you must install Growl first before installing MacDroid Notifier. For the market app, scan the barcode below.
