If you haven’t already checked, an update to the Angry Birds application (Beta 2) is now available in the Android Market. Rovio has been working diligently to prepare Angry Birds for official release.
One of the more notable changes is the addition of support for more phones. HTC Evo 4G users have reported on various occasions that the game would not play on their phone. Other users who have since updated are reporting full functionality. Users having issues on FroYo or custom ROM’s should have better results as well.
Let’s not forget that this is still a beta and will certainly need some more polishing before it is ready for sale and a full release. As an added incentive, Rovio has promised to give out Angry Birds toys to a lucky set of 10 testers who provide feedback in a survey.
Those of you who have not tried this game already, search for Angry Birds in the Android Market or use the QR code below and fill out the survey for your shot at an Angry Birds toy.
