Motorola to go with Tegra 2 processor from NVIDIA

It is already known that LG and Samsung will be making phones with dual-core processors to be announced in Q4 of this year. It has been rumored for some time that Motorola is also developing a phone  with a 2 GHz processor, but recently, that rumor has turned out to be untrue. In fact, Motorola will be coming out with a dual-core Tegra 2 processor from NVIDIA. This will give Motorola a place to be competitive with the other dual-core processor phones coming out (LG and Samsung).

More than likely, Motorola will be going with the Tegra 2 processor since there are limited choices. With other rumors circulating around the release of Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) by year’s end, Motorola, indeed, is working very closely with Google on a device. Motorola has predicted to earn 12 to 14 million in 2010 so they might be cooking something large for Q4. Is it possible that Motorola will be releasing the first dual-core processor phone?
