Here’s a bit of good news for you Milestone owners in Europe. In the past Motorola seemed unsure that they would be releasing Android 2.2 for the Milestone. It may not have been as big of a deal if the identical Motorola Droid hadn’t already received this upgrade. Anyway as I said I have good news it seems some progress has been made in an effort to bring Froyo to the European Milestone. These European devices are now being tested and undergoing user trials with you guess it Froyo. So before you form an angry mob and go demanding Froyo, Motorola already has it covered so you can relax. Don’t believe me check out what Motorola had to say…
“Hello. From next week we start user trials of the European Milestone upgrade to Froyo. Once these are complete, we will know what further work is required to optimize, before going into final testing and approval stage. As previously we plan to start rolling the update at the end of this year, but wanted to keep you updated. Thanks”
