Is January 6th The Launch Of The HTC Knight (Speedy)?

We still don’t know much about this device known as the HTC Knight, or possibly Speedy. We know it is a smaller EVO look-alike.  There are rumors flying around that it has a slide out QWERTY keyboard and it looks to have the same micro USB as the EVO with a 3.7″ screen.

Well we may have a pretty good idea on a launch date thanks to this leaked accessory approval document.  The above shows cases for the Knight will start arriving January 6th. This is not a release date for the device, but it would be a little odd that cases show up with no smartphone to put in them.  January 6th also just happens to be the first day of CES, and I would bet good money they would announce it then.  Thanks to the folks at XDA developers for the pic below.
