Verizon is updating Droid 2 to version 2.3 – but hold your horses, it’s not Gingerbread, but only a software update that contains some bug fixes and improvements such as for battery life, the proximity sensor, faster GPS location services, and allowing users to add a photo from the Gallery to use as contact photo.
