Verizon and NFL "discuss" distribution of programming on tablets.

Things are starting to fall into place when you look at what Verizon has been up to this year, dropping 4G around Football cities while also trying to work out a plan for the NFL when it comes to streaming live games, content to download and fantasy drafts to check up on. Previously joined to the hip with Sprint but now with Big Red the NFL is trying to get their logo into everyone’s home via cellphone, tablets and internet and what better way to do it than with the carrier with the most customers and reliable network.

Brian Rolapp, the NFL’s senior vice president of media strategy, recently said the following: “The NFL will be on a tablet. It’s a question of what shape or form. We are currently talking to Verizon about it.”  Of course Verizon refused to comment on anything, keeping what they have planned to the chest for now but you can bet that they are doing everything they can to meet the goals  both companies are trying to reach.

Cant say for sure if the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be the start for the NFL or if they are looking at another one already in productions, knowing that they will be bringing in tons and tons of revenue, it looks like there will be multiple tablets in the works.
