Global Coverage
It should come as no surprise to all of you that purchased a Droid 2 Global or Droid Pro that Verizon has blocked the AT&T GSM bands in America. The phones do actually support the bands in other countries but there is firmware present blocking access here in America. The reason anyone would ever want to forgo their Verizon coverage in favor of AT&T is questionable. The map below shows the coverage map worldwide for those interested.
