Will your HTC be getting Android 2.3(Gingerbread)? It’s hard to say at this point. When asked, HTC simple said that the update will be getting put on “A number” of their devices. Absolutely no names were dropped, but this is still exciting.
HTC had this to say when asked by TechRadar, “We are excited about the OS update coming for Android, and while HTC will definitely have some phones running this OS, we do not have a specific timeframe for new phones or updates at this time. Please stay tuned for more details.” Sounds like they are talking about devices already out. My only thing is that, one is “a number” and twenty three is “a number”, just how many phones will actually get their Gingerbread man?
