Sources Point To March Release Of Honeycomb

With the recent release of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the rumor mill about Android’s next version (Honeycomb) has started up again. While we don’t have a lot of details about the tablet-optimized version of Android we hear from sources that it will release in March 2011.

These same sources say that MSI will be giving us a new tablet packing a Tegra 2 processor when the OS releases.  If this and other rumors are correct we should see a whole lot of tablets in the spring of next year.  We still have yet to find out whether or not Android Honeycomb will be 2.4 or 3.0 though.  Thanks to DigiTimes for passing on their source from Taipei.
