Tablets, Tablets, Tablets Coming To T-Mobile's "4G" Network In 2011

Following suit with Sprint, T-Mobile just announced they will be adding to their tablet line-up  in 2011.  They do not divulge manufacturer or platform but you can bet almost all will be Android.  All of their tablets will be capable of using the new “4G” network T-Mobile which isn’t really 4G at all.  The technical definition of 4G is not met but HSPA+ is fast, and can keep up well with Verizon’s LTE and Sprint’s WiMax networks (which they have taken to calling 4G too).  How awesome would it be to have a large screen tablet capable of 10 Mbps or better downlink speeds?  Check out the full statement from T-Mobile below:

“T-Mobile is working closely with the majority of our OEM partners to deliver 4G products by integrating HSPA+ into roadmaps in 2011 as the dominant global standard. Consumers will continue to see HSPA+ fuel future innovation in a variety of mobile consumer electronics from smartphones and tablets to emerging devices. T-Mobile will continue to be at the forefront of wireless innovation, delivering an aggressive 4G product lineup in 2011, including 4G tablets.”
