Leak: New HTC Phone Code Named 'Vivo' gets Verizon Branding

As we get close to Mobile World Congress 2011 more and more images of unnamed devices are being leaked. Today we see images cropping up all over the place of and unnamed HTC Android phone. One thing we know for sure is that this new HTC, branded with a network stamp, will be revealed by Verizon in the coming weeks.

There has not been much mentioned about this phone but it is obvious from the images that it has no buttons on the front, making it fully touch screen. This has been rumoured to be over 4 inches in size, however no signs of a front camera on these pictures.

As you can see from the rear image, the device will have and up to date HTC sense and what looks like a dual-LED flash. It is apparently being code-named Vivo, runs Android 2.2 and will have a 4-inch 480 X 800 Super LCD screen.

This HTC could come along and fall into the “Droid” line up but without exact more detailed specifications it is hard to tell how many units could be sold in the first weeks, especially with fierce competition form Apple on the way early February. How much are Verizon willing to push this one?

We wait now for further leaks, until the days of Mobile World Congress where all rumours will be confirmed or squashed.
