Mobilicity continues to shock the Canadian wireless market with their unbeatable low-priced unlimited packages. Just before the holidays Mobilicity came out with their all-in voice, text, and data plan for $40 per month. This deal has now expired, but don’t despair, they’ve revised their monthly plans to be just as attractive, all the time!
The one I find most enticing is the $45 monthly plan. The most significant change is that the $45 plan now includes data and BIS (Blackberry Internet Service), which were previously add-ons for $10 and $5 per month. So, here’s what’s included with this plan:

Mobilicity’s $35 monthly plan has changed by now including Canadian wide long distance, which was previously an add-on for $10 per month. This plan includes all of the above except, unlimited data, unlimited BIS, unlimited US calling, and unlimited global text messaging. (all add-ons)
They also have these plans available in a multi-month deal. This means for the $45 monthly plan you’ll get a 33% discount for paying in advance for the year, which costs $359.99. That then makes this plan $30 per month for unlimited talk, text and web. Holy cow Canada, that is cheaper than in the United States! It’s really nice to see unlimited plans finally being offered in Canada.
Wind Mobile is also getting in on the unlimited plans. Similar to Mobilicity’s $45 monthly plan, Wind launched an unlimited talk, text and data plan for the same price. I know its been very cold outside lately, so what better name for this plan than the ‘WinterWonder Plan’, to help warm your heart. The WinterWonder Plan includes everything in the $45 monthly Mobilicity plan, except the US long distance calling. Another important point to mention, WinterWonder is available for a limited time only. (no end date available)
