In addition to the news about Verizon planning to release updated and improvised versions of Incredible, Droid X and Droid 2, there have been certain rumours to spice things up. The details of the releases of the phones are changing daily along with carriers, but these latest rumours are good enough to be shared.
Firstly, Droid X2 is suppose to be a Tegra 2 dual-core device. It was heard that the device was going to be clocked at 1 GHz, which was kind of disappointing. But, knowing that the device packs a dual-core, the speed did not matter too much. Well it is also not going to have 4G. Verizon plans to release this handset by this May.
Secondly, it is the Incredible 2 which is rumoured to be a global device. This handset seems to have no relation with the cancelled Merge, but does feature a bigger screen (4-inch) with a new radio. Verizon plans to release this handset by this March which seems quite early.
Last but not the least, it is the Droid Bionic. Previously, there has been an article about comparison of Droid Bionic with IPhone and HTC Thunderbolt. This comparison goes show some of Droid Bionic’s features. As per Verizon timeline, this handset is going to release this May.
All these are still rumours, but we will share more information as soon as we get it.
