User rsmartin of the XDA-Developers forum released a new clock widget alternative. This one is a very simple and artistic design that you can choose to use in a variety of different colors. This was originally based off a request from another user, marc22, and rsmartin was kind enough to follow through on the request.
Try it out for yourself at xda-developers and let them know what you think! It should work on all devices. The first version of the .apk file is in this xda post, but you may wish to read the entire thread as well. There are several different versions of the clock available through the thread (which is up to 15 pages).
