The Motorola Atrix 4G has not been out for very long, but due to the fact that it was rooted before it was even released it wasn’t going to be very long before custom ROM came out. Designgears of the XDA-Developers forum has released the first custom ROM for the phone. The ROM has two real features, it is fully Deodexed, and adds a reboot option to the device. Interestingly enough is that this ROM works for rooted and non-rooted devices.Designgears gives four very important rules if you are going to take on this process…
- Do NOT do a factory reset if something goes wrong(soft brick), you will lose adb access and have a pretty brick
- Do NOT do this if you are not familiar with ADB, if you softbrick you need to use adb to fix it
- DO NOT PULL THE BATTERY, EVER WHILE INSTALLING
- BE PATIENT
If you are interested in installing this, or just get more information you can check his original post out at the XDA forums.
