Samsung has just introduced their entry into the Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet arena. The official name is Galaxy Tab 10.1.We introduced it earlier, displaying hardware that is rather similar to the Motorola Xoom, with a Tegra 2 dual processor and a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 resolution display. It features a nice textured backing as opposed to the glossy back on the 7 inch Galaxy Tab, and feels really lightweight at 1.23 pounds.

It is a very speedy tablet and it fits snugly in your hands, making it more portable then it seems at 10.1 inches. Also of importance is the fact that this tablet is offering the pure Google experience, meaning no TouchWiz or other custom UI getting in your way. It features an 8 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, powered by a massive 6860 mAh battery. There has been no official news of a U.S. release date but it should be sometime in the not-to-distant-future.

This is another impressive product released by Samsung on the Android Honeycomb platform. However there are a lot of viable options being released currently running Honeycomb. Let us know how you feel this tablet fairs in the comments bellow.
