At the Mobile World Conference HTC announced that the Incredible was heading to the UK for a spot of tea. HTC updated its moniker to the “Incredible S” and gave it beefed up stats.
Incredible S will have its standard 8 megapixel camera, 1 GHz Qualcomm Chipset, larger 768 MB Ram and its Android 2.2 operating system. Plus surround sound speakers and cool new sheathing of HTC’s soft touch material. To round out its specs is HD video capture with a new front facing camera.
Director of User Experience at HTC, Drew Bamford, stated “The Incredible has industrial design ethos called ‘inside out’ and we’ve tried to express the physical design of the phone on the outside so it looks shrink wrapped”.
HTC gave it more Ram and a front facing camera and a slightly new look. All of which will work. HTC incredible is a best seller for HTC in the U.S. and it changed the game when it came out last year. It still is one of the best Android based phones on the market right now and it will do phenomenal in the U.K.
