At the Mobile World Congress HTC announced that they will be releasing the HTC Wildfire S, the successor to the HTC Wildfire. The phone’s screen has been updated from a QVGA to a HVGA style screen. It will be powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz chip with 512MB of RAM. A 5 MP rear facing camera will also be equipped to the device. The big story about this phone is that it will be running Android 2.4, with a release in “Late Q2”.
