On June 30, 2010, Qualcomm announced their Augmented Reality Application Developers Challenge, a chance for developers to build the “most amazing app they can imagine” using augmented reality (AR) technology. Now, about 7 ½ months later, they’re ready to announce the winners.
Qualcomm will showcase the best of the best from the AR Developers Challenge at Mobile World Congress to display the power of their new dual-core Snapdragon processors. They released a short teaser video which briefly shows some of the applicant demos, and I have to admit — after seeing this video, I’m pretty excited to see where they take this. Have a look:

The top 3 winners will be announced on Qualcomm’s Facebook page on February 15th, receiving $125,000; $50,000; and $25,000 respectively.
