It seems like there’s a never-ending rumor mill spinning around the HTC Thunderbolt. The folks over at Droid Life have posted a picture of what seems to be a Verizon Wireless internal screen that shows the Thunderbolt’s launch for 2/14 has been posted indefinitely.
To add insult to injury, the 4G Mobile Hotspot has gotten the same treatment, postponed with no expected arrival date. As you know, that mobile hotspot has already been a no and then a yes for launch. So, who knows when this phone is going to be released, but as you can see below, dummy phones have shown up in some stores (with a date of Feb. 14th on display). Let’s all just hope Big Red shows us some Valentine’s love for a release date soon.
Update: Here’s Verizon tweeting mum about the 2/14 release data that Best Buy had announced:
They are replying to questioners to check with Best Buy about that 2/14 launch date, saying they didn’t announce it, Best Buy did.
