Dubbed Swiftkey Tablet, it takes a unique three column approach which aims to make “tablet typing the way it should be”. Like the smartphone-specific equivalent, it will feature the same intelligent design that “learns” your writing style and begins to predict the next word as you type.
The layout of the keyboard seems to address what I would consider to be one of the biggest difficulties regarding tablet typing – space. When holding a tablet (especially the larger size like the Xoom) in landscape mode, it’s almost impossible to reach center keys like G, H, T, Y, B, and N. The intuitive design of Swiftkey Tablet breaks the keys down, placing half on one side, half on the other, and a numeric 10-pack in the center.
