While it was advertised to come at launch, Flash is finally here for the XOOM! Adobe updated their mobile flash to version 10.2 in the Android market today. This version works both for phones that support flash and Android 3.0.1 devices (as of this writing, only the XOOM). Phones definitely get better performance with the new version. 10.1 had some stutter for me on 3g, but 10.2 has a lot less of the jitters. I recommend leaving the Flash set to “On Demand” in your browser, so you don’t get hit hard with ads and content you might not necessarily want to see. This will also improve battery life as well. Anyone with an Android device that supports Flash needs to head into the market and update right away! If you didn’t have it on your device yet, click here to install it.
