T-Mobile to Get Very Own LG Optimus 3D?

Here’s another great rumor that says T-Mobile is alive and well, merger with acquisition by AT&T notwithstanding.  Supposedly Magenta, before it’s painted over in Big Blue, is going to get its very own version of the LG Optimus 3D.

T-Mobile Gets its Thrill Early

AT&T just announced their flavor of LG’s 3D smartphone, called theAT&T Thrill 4G(pictured at right).  Since an AWS version of the phone just cleared the FCC, it sure looks like this one’s promised to T-Mo.  Sure, it’s called the LG P920, but it’s an Optimus 3D with T-Mo’s 1700 MHz band.

Don’t forget that T-Mobile already has some impressive LG Android bling already: the T-Mobile G2x and the T-Mobile G-Slate.  Maybe T-Mobile is really, really impressed with LG.

Any suggestions what T-Mobile will call their LG Optimus 3D if they get one?  How about the T-Mobile Acquisition 3D?
