Hands on with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
French website AndroidHD has gotten its hands on the newest version of Samsung’s Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. During the time they got to play with it, AndroidHD was kind enough to make a high quality, 11 minute video of the Tab doing its thing, which it seems to do exceptionally well. Take a look:

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Features
As you can see, it’s got most of the same features of the Motorola Xoom, since it’s running Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb). From a hardware standpoint, it’s nearly identical as well with it’s 1 GHz Tegra 2 Dual Core processor and 1280 x 800 10.1 inch screen. But if you pay attention to the video, it seems snappier and the screen looks to be better quality than the Moto. Not only this, but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 can record full 1080p video, whereas the Xoom can handle 720p at best.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 vs Motorola XOOM
Of course, one thing that Moto will have over on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is 4G LTE connectivity. Considering that, hopefully Sammy will compensate by coming in at a competitive price since most of us agree that the $800 Xoom is overpriced.
Let the tablet pricing wars begin! Does this make you more interested in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1?
