The HTC Thunderbolt showcase app is now available from Verizon, and you can download it from the Android Market. This comes as good news as we are a week away from the next rumored launch date. Why? Because the app is used by Verizon reps to show off the phone’s features. Don’t go and drink the Kool-Aid just yet but maybe, just maybe we may actually get this phone and all its 4G goodness in our hands next week. Until then, you can check out the app to see the T-Bolt’s list of features.
Oh and do note, there is no trace of Skype video listed. Rumors have been flying that Skype will not be included on the Thunderbolt at launch but will be installed per an OTA update later. I think after weeks of delays, I’d go a few days without Skype just to have this phone already. And a launch next week would be, as the great Charlie Sheen would say, WINNING!
We may actually be seeing the T-Bolts soon, as some Verizon associates reportedly set up the 4G SIM cards for Thunderbolt demo units.
Have you looked at the showcase app? Let us know what you think of it and if it makes you want to get your very own HTC Thunderbolt, provided Verizon ever releases it.
