Motorola Droid Pro Gets OTA Update; Older OS Issue Remains

Motorola DROID Pro Gets a Software Update, but no Gingerbread Love

The Motorola Droid Pro is Moto’s strategy to pull the BlackBerry-toting users to our side of the playing field. It has a very, very similar look to the standard BlackBerry, but the touchscreen and greatness of Android OS. I think the phone did a fairly good job bringing some of the more dated users to our side, further crushing RIM into eventual history.

Motorola is still showing off their love of the device with an OTA update. While the update brings a lot of useful bug fixes and enhancements, it doesn’t bring Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) just yet. This device is too new to miss the Gingerbread boat in my opinion, so I’m sure it’s got it coming as well. Check out the official list of enhancements from Motorola below.
