Summary: A couple of new leaks have brought us detailed renders and a promo video of the Motorola Edge 60, one of the upcoming members of the family. The company already introduced the Edge 60 Fusion. It seems that all models will have a similar design language with Pantone colors.
Motorola is slowly revealing its new phones in the Edge 60 series. The company recently launched the Edge 60 Fusion, the most affordable model in the Edge 60 family. Now, a couple of new leaks have revealed detailed renders and a short video of the vanilla Motorola Edge 60. It’s noteworthy that the company is also working on new foldables within the upcoming Razr 60 lineup.
YTECHB has shared leaked renders of the Motorola Edge 60 in two colors. On the other hand, the short video comes from @evleaks on X/Twitter. Pantone will continue to collaborate with the phone maker to offer attractive colors and finishes. In this case, the images show the device in “Pleasant Blue” and “Green” variants. The design language is the same as what we saw on the Edge 60 Fusion.
Motorola Edge 60 in leaked renders and video
The rear area of the Motorola Edge 60 has a layer of 3D silicone vegan leather. The textured finish will offer a premium feel in the hand and is more resistant than glass to potential scratches. There’s a triple camera system and an LED flash in a square module. The handset will boast an IP68/69 rating for greater durability against accidents.
Like the Edge 60 Fusion, its more expensive sibling also features a quad-curved display. This will help make the bezels around the screen look even thinner. The side curves stand out more than the other two in the leaked renders. The display may support AquaTouch technology for easier use with wet hands. Plus, a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i could protect it.
Motorola has placed the power and volume up/down buttons on the right frame. The bottom frame includes the SIM slot, a microphone, a speaker grille, and the USB-C port. The top frame includes another microphone and the “Dolby Atmos” engraving.
Expected specs
As for the specs, the Dimensity 7400 chip—same as the Edge 60 Fusion—could power the device. Motorola reportedly plans to offer it in variants featuring 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, in addition to 256GB or 512GB of storage. A 5,500mAh battery with support for 65W TurboPower charging could keep the lights on.
According to reports, the rear camera system will include a 50MP Sony LYTA 700C main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Lastly, the Motorola Edge 60 will run Android 15 out of the box. The brand will provide up to three years of major OS updates and four years of monthly security updates.
