Verizon: Two Year or No-Year Contracts Only, But Maybe Phones Could Cost Less?

Recently, AT&T announced a price increase with their one-year contracts and I took a dig at them and said I was happy I went to Verizon. Days later, Verizon announces they won’t have one-year contracts at all, and that makes me a very sad panda.

It was rather ironic to read the news after I went out of my way to take a jab at Big Blue for their price increase.  It looks like they might be trying to get back in my (and I’m sure others’) good graces with this latest rumor. It seems that Verizon is lowering the no-contract prices of their phones altogether. This could make it a little easier to have the latest in phone technology, especially if Best Buy honors those prices as well.

Will Verizon Pricing Apply at Best Buy Too?

If that’s the case, I might be getting my phones off-contract from Best Buy with their new Buy Back program. It’s hard to say for sure if this will affect all phones or just some, but you can be sure me and the rest of the site will be on top of this to determine the best value for your buck.
