It was just yesterday that T-Mobile’s new LG G2X launched in stores, and already people are noticing something that is rather disconcerting. Since the phone first launched it has been getting rave reviews. But our friends over at AndroidCommunity.com have noticed that the LCD screen’s backlight is bleeding, badly. Apparently it is very common with this type of screen, as it is part of the production process that causes it, but the G2X seems to be bleeding worse than most other LCDs. The G2X is T-Mobile’s version of the LG 2x, a Dual- Core, dual camera phone that first went on the market overseas. It is running a stock android 2.2 experience and will be upgraded to android 2.3 when it becomes available. But when that happens the screen bleeding will become a bigger issue, as 2.3’s notification bar is black and will show the screen bleeding more often. But still this looks like an amazing phone.
So does this affect your decision to get this phone? What do you think about it? Sound off in the comments below.
