Galaxy Tab 8.9 In Action

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is finally being shown in working form. The demo tablet shown at MWC did not actually power on so this is the first sighting of the ultra thin Tab running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. To put the thinness of the Tab in perspective it actually comes in thinner and lighter than the iPad 2 which is no easy task.  The Galaxy Tab 8.9s dimensions of 8.6-mm and weight of 16.58 oz are the smallest of any tablet in the world.

  • Lightest tablet in the world at 16.58 oz, or 470 g

  • HSPA+ connectivity, with WiFI and Bluetooth
