Sony bolsters the Xperia line with Acro
Sony has recently found a lot of success with their Android smartphones and appear to be turning around their mobile arm with a great line up of Android powered handsets with awesome specs. Enter the Xperia Acro the latest in it’s Xperia line of phones and Japanese counterpart to the SE Xperia Arc.
Stunning visuals the hallmark of Xperia Acro
One thing that gives me a lot of hope for Android is a platform is the slew of phones being released with Android 2.3 preloaded and the Xperia Acro is one of those phones. The Android 2.3 smart phone will be powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor and the ever popular Adreno 205 GPU. What kind of camera is it packing you say? An 8.1 Mega-pixel rear facing camera will handle the 720p hd recording everyone is so fond of these days. Exmor R for mobile will rectify our low light complaints and give us surprisingly vivid photographs when the lighting isn’t optimal. Last but certainly not least is the display, and to me this is one of the more impressive aspects of this phone. It’s got an extra wide 4.2″ Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA engine making it tic. The Acro will be coming our way this summer in two colors, black or white. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Sony smart phone brand but they are certainly beginning to win me over. Acro seems like a great asset to their lineup. Later folks.
