The HTC Sensation is the phone that oddly showed up in Google ads with a June 8th release date. Do you remember that one? Well, here is the confirmation that it will indeed launch on June 8th and T-Mobile is the carrier.
Tmonews.com landed that image that confirms the date, but oddly has a TBD price. This looks to be a killer device:
- Android 2.3
- Networks: GSM 900/AWS/2100
- Wireless: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA
- Display: 4.3-inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen
- Gorilla Glass
- qHD display resolution at 540 x 960 pixels
- Camera: 8MP autofocus with dual-LED flash rear camera, 1080p video, 1.2MP front camera
- Connectivity: Bluetooth v3.0, microUSB v2.0
- Memory: 4GB internal, microSD up to 32GB (8GB included), 768MB RAM
- Processor: Dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon
- Size: 4.96×2.57×0.44 inches
- Weight: 5.22 ounces
- Gyro, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- 1520mAh battery
The battery size is questionable, but with Gingerbread on board and that famous T-Mobile fauxG this seems to be a nice step up from my two month old Thunderbolt.
Not that I’m bitter or anything like that. I could root it.
