HTC has been looking for a way to target women towards their phones. Most of all HTC phones are used by males. The phone will come to Verizon. It’s a pretty clever idea. They are targeting women in the 2-30’s range. The phone name is known as the HTC Bliss is supposed to be in Verizon’s lineup this year.
Mock-Up Picture
The image above is a mock-up of the device will look like, it’s not an actual picture release from HTC. HTC has put thought in the phone with clever ideas such as calorie counters, and shopping comparison apps like ShopSavvy.
This phone will be running Android (that’s why you are reading this!) and the famous HTC Sense UI, no word has been out if it will be modified in any way to target women nor has the version of Android and Sense are know. But we can make out that it will probably come with Android 2.3 (GingerBread), but Android 2.4 (Ice-Cream Sandwich) is coming out soon too. This phone is also coming with a “charm indicator”
What the heck is a “Charm Indicator”?
The charm indicator is like a LED notification that you get with many smartphones, but these days a lot of phones are lacking it, such as some of the new Droids. This is pretty helpful when women are searching when their phone rings in their heavy, messy purses (this does not apply to all). This charm indicator is removable as well. This is just the bread and butter, full details and specs have not yet been out, but make sure to keep checking back soon, if you are interested in this phone, unfortunately it won’t be out before Mother’s Day. It will still make the perfect gift for almost any thing.
