Featured: Droid Incredible 4G and Droid Fighter Coming Soon to Verizon

HTC will have a next-gen Incredible device coming soon for Verizon under the name of Droid Incredible 4G, which will of course have LTE, a dual core 1.2 Ghz S4 processor, qHD AMOLED display, 1 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, front-facing VGA camera, 4G LTE, and Beats Audio. It runs Android 4.0 and the latest version of Sense.

For its own sake, I hope this device will be $200 at most, or even $150 on contract. That’s because it features a lower powered S4 chip, only a qHD AMOLED display (not even the Plus version, and not HD either). The 1 GB is still fine for phones for now, but the front facing VGA camera is pretty obsolete, and all high-end phones should have HD video chat by now.

Next up, we have the Motorola Droid Fighter, which is more of a Bionic successor. It may seem quickly, but the Bionic was delayed quite a lot. It will have a 4.6″ display and a 3300 mAh battery like the RAZR Maxx. This has been a huge benefit of the Maxx, because it allows to have a battery life that is twice as large as any other smartphone out there.

Not yet known, but it’s possible it will have an OMAP 4470 chip, seeing how Motorola likes using OMAP chips in their phones. That would be a worthy upgrade considering it is a dual core 1.8 Ghz Cortex A9 chip, and it should also be easily supported by Android 4.0, so it will most likely be an Android 4.0 device as well.

The Motorola Droid Fighter is expected to land on April 12, and the HTC Droid Incredible 4G should launch on April 24th.
