Asus MeMO stylus-equipped Android tablet shown off and benchmarked on video, finally hits retail

It’s been a long time since we first saw Asus’ 7-inch, stylus-equipped MeMO tablet, but it looks like it is finally in the hands consumers. Netbooknews has just picked up the Eee Pad MeMO ME171 in Taiwan for NT$17,500 (about $592) and given it a thorough hands-on treatment. The tablet – which is currently running Honeycomb but is promised to be upgraded to Android 4.0 – is nearly identical to the ME370T, except it uses an outdated 1.2GHz, dual-core Qualcomm 8260 processor instead of a quad-core Tegra 3.
