It seems like the Dream of owning the latest and greatest Smart Phone is slipping farther and farther away, for just as one phone is released, another is already being made to replace the one that you, now regrettably, just purchased. Motorola Razr Owners, I’m sorry but the rumors are true, there is a bigger better version of your ancient 6-month old device just around the corner.
Pictures and Specs of the MT887 ‘Blade’ the Chinese version of the Moto Droid Razr HD have been springing up like Cyber Monday network traffic and I have scoured the web to bring you the most comprehensive, most-likely, of all the web noise surrounding this very, and as all Droid devices are, hyped device.
Most information floating around tells of the device packing a Snapdragon S4 Dual Core Processor, although this does not seem likely, I predict the Quad-Core instead. A big 8 MP F/2.4 camera with LED flash adorns the raised top of the Kevlar Back, however, again the original Chinese version had a 13 MP so I don’t see why they would go backwards. Hardware buttons have also been foregone in exchange for the 4.6 inch 720p HD screen with Android 4.0 and the built-in soft keys.
The American version is sure to follow these specs including the 3300mAh battery and have the addition of LTE and hopefully NFC. It is a very nice looking device, with its Kevlar back and Gorilla Glass front, and looks very comfortable to hold while typing or taking a call. I would assume we will see and hear more in the coming days, but, if the reported shortage of Quad-Core S4 chips isn’t just a marketing rumor then it may not be till the end of the third quarter, just in time for the holidays.
Here are some more pics you have probably already seen.
