Featured: Buying The Samsung Galaxy S III? Get 50GB Free Storage From DropBox

Samsung announced a great partnership at their launch event for the Galaxy S III. People who buy the smartphone will also get 50GB of free storage for two years from DropBox, a leading cloud storage service with Millions of users. Cloud hosting has become increasingly popular as Internet speeds have increased, at least in many parts around the World, and the cost of storage continues to go down.

With many people having multiple devices such as a laptop, desktop computer, and smartphone, DropBox is great for those who need their files easily accessible from these different devices. Add to the fact you get 50GB free for two years which would otherwise cost you $198 if paid annually, and it’s a pretty awesome deal.

What’s interesting to note however is that while the Galaxy S III runs on Android, instead of potentially having a deal worked out with the tech giant for storage on Google Drive, they’re promoting a competitor. Combine that with Samsung also rolling out S Voice which will compete with Google’s own updated Siri-like product, and there’s a somewhat awkward relationship.
