Featured: Will the Galaxy S3 Come with the New Exynos 5250 in North America?

A screenshot of a Rogers Adwords ad is showing us that their version of Galaxy S3 will have LTE and “a new Exynos processor”. So what does this mean? We know that Exynos 4 Quad doesn’t have integrated LTE, and we’ve already heard rumors that the US version will be a dual core version. Most people thought this means the S4 processors by default, which is certainly a nice assumption.

But I was wondering, if Qualcomm is already overwhelmed by demand, how are going to keep up with the Galaxy S3 demand in US? Unless, they already know exactly how many chips they are supposed to provide to Samsung in the coming months. In that case I suppose it would make sense to have the S4 chip.

But what if Samsung delays the Galaxy S3 in US and Canada just enough to put their Exynos 5250 chip inside, which is a dual core 2 Ghz Cortex A15 chip with Mali T-604 GPU? Since it’s a brand new chip, I have a hard time believing that it won’t have LTE integrated as well. Also, if we are to believe this ad it says both LTE and Exynos, and we know for a fact that the Exynos 4 Quad won’t have integrated LTE. So it all leads me to believe that it will indeed use this Exynos 5 chip in North American markets.
