Featured: Angry Birds Hitting The Water For Some Summer Fun

Angry Birds isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Rovio, the creator of the Worldwide sensation, is rolling out yet another update to its incredibly popular game. Their last big release was Angry Birds Space which, in less than two months, 76 days to be precise, topped an astounding 100 Million downloads. Yes, 100 Million. It was downloaded more than 50 Million times in 35 days which made it the fastest growing mobile game of all time.

Now and for the summer, users can expect the same experience they’ve grown to love, but in a summer setting, on the beach and in the water. Part of Angry Birds Seasons, this summer themed update allows you to sink the pigs and also introduces some new underwater physics. The new theme is appropriately called “Piglantis” which features 30 new levels, a brand new soundtrack, and new physics.

Piglantis is out now and if you already have the Angry Birds Seasons app on your Android device, you should have gotten or be getting the update. If your productivity was already under question before, enjoy another round on Rovio. We know it’s hot out, but please don’t make that an excuse to not get out, have fun, and instead play Angry Birds in the AC.
