With Samsung Electronics as the official sponsor of the 2012 Olympics in London, they’ve revealed a premium edition of the SGS3 (Samsung Galaxy S III) available to athletes and selected partners, possibly more. This limited edition of the Galaxy S 3 will be available for distributing thanks to Visa payWave, a Visa application for mobile payments.
Mr. Du Weiyu and Chunghwa Telecom together announced recently, a premium accessory pack for the Galaxy S III in Taiwan. Each one of the 3 premium accessory packs will include a cell phone holder/figurine designed after 3 sports: a Cyclist, Taekwondo athlete and a Weightlifter with a base under each holder displaying the British flag. Included in each package is a case displaying a faceless British Royal Guard character along with a nice decoration piece for your 3.5mm headphone jack; a British royal soldier figurine. Also starting July 22nd you can download a background with the same British royal guard graphic from Samsung Apps and although there is no info so far on the price for this sweet 2012 Olympics edition of the SGS3, the cases are to run around $10 US ($299 Taiwan dollars).
