With hundreds of thousands of apps to choose from in the Google Play Store, there’s a little bit of something for everybody. Games are often the most used of any app which we’ve seen many great titles over the years. If you find yourself a playing a lot of games, it’s not only your productivity that’s being affected but also your bank account. Multiple 99 cents, $1.99, $2.99, etc., buy multiples and it adds up over time.
Verizon has decided to do something a little bit different and has partnered with Extent to bring their GameTanium service to customers. GameTanium currently has over 100 games designed for smartphones and over 50 games for tablets. Some notable games are Fruit Ninja, Plants vs. Zombies, and Riptide GP. The service will cost Verizon customers just $5.99/month, which, if you play a lot of games and find many of their games as ones you like, it can definitely pay for itself.
GameTanium works similar to the Play Store meaning you find the app you want, download and install, and since you pay for the service, you get to play ad free. If you want to try it before subscribing, they offer a free 3 day trial. Depending on how well the service goes over on Verizon, we could see GameTanium get access to even more games and potentially more well known titles.
