If you are a flashaholic person, you must have rooted your Android smartphone and have installed the popular ClockworkMod Recovery on it. The main purpose of the CWM Recovery is to allow the users to create nanadorid backups easily, flash thousands of custom ROMs available out there for the devices and to wipe off the data on your device. The CWM custom recovery is available for almost all the devices in the market, so regardless of what device you use, you can install it.
Recently, a news came out that the new version of the CWM Recovery would bring the feature to create update.zip files. If you do not know what it is, let me tell you about it. An update.zip is a file comprising of all your ROM data and it can easily be flashed using any recovery on your device. With this new feature, you will be able to create the flashable ZIP files of your current ROM, including the modifications you have done, and then you can share it with your friends. It also helps you to revert back to the default ROM you were using before installing a new custom ROM.
The updated version with this feature of CWM Recovery is not rolled out, yet. However, we can expect it to hit our devices in the next few days.
