Featured: New Motorola Droid Razr HD Leak

Just yesterday we saw pictures of the Motorola Droid Razr HD from a user on XDA, but the pictures were of a GSM International version of the Razr HD for Vodafone. Today we are seeing more leaked pictures of the Razr HD from a user in the Droid Forums, and this one looks to be the Verizon version, are reasoning behind that is you see the 4G LTE logo on the back of the device which Verizon has on all of their 4G LTE devices.

Like we said above this is the Verizon Droid Razr HD, complete with a kevlar back and Android 4.0.4 – Ice Cream Sandwich. We are also expecting the same 3300mAh battery that we see in the Droid Razr Maxx that launched earlier this year. The device also has a 720p HD 4.5″ display. We also know it will use the same Colorboost technology we see in AT&T’s Atrix HD that was just released not too long ago, and the Sprint Photon Q, which was announced just last week.

Motorola did state that starting with the Photon Q on Sprint, every device after will be able to have its’ bootloader unlocked, but this is a Verizon device. Verizon likes locked bootloaders, a perfect example is the Samsung Galaxy S III, all versions of the device can have an unlocked bootloader except for the Verizon Galaxy S III. So we’ll have to see if Motorola can strong arm Verizon into allowing the Droid Razr HD’s bootloader to be unlocked, let’s keep our fingers crossed.

We are seeing more and more leaks of the Razr HD everyday now, in fact the device passed through the FCC last week, so an announcement should be coming very soon from Verizon and Motorola. We’re still expecting pricing to be in the $199-$299 price range on contract from Verizon. Who’s looking for the Droid Razr HD to release so they can pick it up?
