Featured: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Pricing Starts at €599 in Germany

Most of us expected that Samsung will announce the 10-incher Note at the upcoming Galaxy Even on 15th August but we all met with surprise when Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 10.1 in a press release recently. The press release consisted the main specs of the device and more information about the availability worldwide but one important factor that was left out of the release was “Pricing information”. Samsung didn’t reveal any pricing info yet. However, Galaxy Note 10.1 is available in Germany starting today.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 Wifi only version costs €599 while the 3G version costs an extra €100. This makes the Note 10.1 a bit expensive compared to other android tablets. This means that the Note 10.1 will hit US market with a price tag of $599 for Wifi only and an extra 100 bucks for the 3G variant.

Another online retail website from UK has started taking orders for the Galaxy Note 10.1 and to be honest their prices are preposterous. Mobicity UK is taking pre-orders at £679 for the 16gigs Wifi only version. The shipment will start from tomorrow. In my personal opinion, I think that these prices are a bit too much for a Quad-core android tablet. At least Samsung should have priced it the same as iPad or even less than it would’ve been better. You can find the official announcement and spec sheet here.

Also, you should keep in mind that these prices can vary when hitting the US market but we’re not much sure about a big difference. So, what are your thoughts about the pricing of the Note 10.1? Is it worth the $600-$700 price tag?
