Featured: HTC Desire 4G LTE Coming To Verizon Soon for Just $149.95, Cellcom Listing Confirms

We have reasons to believe that Verizon is planning to introduce a new HTC device pretty soon. We already told you in our previous post that guys over at Engadget have got their hands on an internal device management screenshot of Verizon’s inventory and it shows pretty cool devices listed there. Among other popular devices including HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, DROID Incredible 2 is a mysterious HTC Desire 4G LTE. It is unknown whether the phone will be a high-end phone just an entry level device but the lack of DROID branding hints to a possible low-end device. Although, dropping the DROID branding seems logical as the name DROID Desire just doesn’t cut it now, does it?

According to Engadget, this could possibly be a Desire X variant that was unveiled at IFA last month but we find it highly unlikely. This phone looks a bit similar to a previously leaked HTC device that we reported on.

Well, Today the phone is up on Cellcom for $150 with a 2-year contract, just sign-up to get notified when it becomes available. It comes with a 1.2GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm chip, 4″ qHD Super-LCD display, 8 megapixel rear shooter, 8GB internal storage and support for microSD card. The phone will be running Android 4.0 ICS out of the box with Sense 4.0 on top of it. It resembles the latest One series in terms of design.

There are no official words on the release date of the phone, however you can notice that the date right in front of the device name (in the document) is August 28th, that unfortunately has already passed but we’re sure that HTC will be sharing more info about the said device at its New York event on 19th September along with the rumored 5″ Phablet the company is working on.

Stay tuned as we’ll be bringing you more news as soon as the news develops.
