Featured: HTC Plans to Roll Out Jelly Bean update for One X Next Month

HTC One X users have been waiting for a Jelly Bean update for quite sometime now. Well, fortunately if you own a One X then you won’t have to wait any longer to taste the goodness of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on your powerful One X. According to a recent report by MoDaCo, The update will be rolling out by the start of next month.

There are no words on a typical date for the update but we are sure that it will be out in the first week of October and the Unlocked variants would be the first in line to get it, followed by Network branded versions that take a bit more time to receive their share of Jelly Beans. HTC aims to update all One X phones to Jelly Bean by Christmas, so people with a carrier branded device are also in luck. Christmas is just right around the corner, isn’t it?

The report also confirms that the upcoming HTC One X+ will also run Jelly Bean OS right out of the box and the One XL headed towards EE will be running the same OS as well. So, if you are still running the Official ICS stock ROM on your HTC One X and waiting for the Jelly Bean update with Sense UI on top of it then you’re totally in luck, 2-3 more weeks to go before you can enjoy the Official Jelly Bean on your device or have you already gone down the Root n Flash route?
