OK, folks we’ve got some tasty news for you to chew on for a few days. Guys over at BriefMobile have got their hands on the alleged benchmark and other screenshots of the upcoming AT&T Variant of the Galaxy Note 2. The AT&T version is modeled as SGH-I317.
AT&T bands are almost identical to International bands so it is pretty obvious to have AT&T as the first carrier to offer the next generation of Galaxy Note. Good news is that the Exynos Quad-core chip is still there and it has been replaced with the Dual-Core Qualcomm chip, that we got with the previous Galaxy Note and even the flagship Galaxy SIII. Samsung switched to Qualcomm chip because the Exynos wasn’t compatible with AT&T’s 4G LTE – Look’s like now Sammy has worked out the bugs and kinks in their chip thus the Galaxy Note 2 will be packing the Exynos under the hood with LTE compatibility.
BriefMobile has got some handful of images their showing most of the hardware specs and benchmark results. With 1280x720p resolutions, Android 4.1.1, S-Cloud, S-Voice, etc. The Note 2 scored a real high 5912 in Quadrant putting it on top of the HTC One X and 13551 in ATuTu, outperforming it’s cousin Galaxy SIII by a margin but it’s nothing that we haven’t seen before and doesn’t even come close to the Nexus 7 Overclocked results.
There are no words on the availability of the device and all we have here is the word “soon. So, we’re certain that it will hit the US market pretty soon but which network would it be T-Mobile, Sprint or AT&T? What do you think let us know.
