LG has been in the news recently for their upcoming New York event, where the announcement for the LG Optimus G is expected. However, there are other “Good” things going on for LG as well like the recent showcase of LG Optimus L9 at FCC. The recent visit to FCC is most certainly a hint towards a launch sooner rather than later. The L9 is expected to hit the European market by the end of next month. No words on aUS launch but we’re sure that the L series will be coming to American soil very soon.
The Optimus L9 doesn’t come with jaw-dropping specs like the Optimus G but it packs some decent hardware under the hood for a very reasonable price tag. It is powered by a dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5 Megapixel camera, 4.7″ IPS-display, Android 4.0 ICS and 4GB of internal storage expandable by microSD card. According to Vodafone Europe the phone will be offered for £350 without contract or £50 on contract. Still there are no official words by LG on either the price or the availability of the phone. We hope that the L series hits theUSmarket by next month to give people a budget-friendly device with some serious spec-sheet.
Would you like to buy the Optimus L9 or would you prefer something much better and expensive like the Galaxy Note 2 or LG Optimus G or maybe even the magical, wonderful and highly innovative iPhone 5? (/Sarcasm)
