Featured: LG Pocket Photo brings mobile picture printing to any Android Device

LG has unveiled a new non-phone device that will come off as a treat for Polaroid fans. If you have a knack for old polaroid cameras where you snap the picture and instantly get the print then you will love to hear that LG has just announced the LG Pocket Photo, a portable printer that prints photos on the go. The Pocket Photo measures in around at 2.8 x 4.7 x 0.9 inches and prints out 2″ x 3″ prints on Zink paper without using any ink reservoirs. This is the smallest mobile printer in the world and it’s just .1-inch smaller than the Polaroid Pogo Mobile printer available for $39.99

The Pocket photo connects to Android devices via Bluetooth/NFC and a special app designed for the device lets the user apply filters, tweak the photos, resize, etc. The Pocket Photo will cost you nearly $170 and 10 sheets of paper will set you back $13. That is $130 more than the Pogo Mobile printer, maybe because LG made it a tiny bit shorter.

The Photo Pocket will soon be available in 3 different colors, silver, pink and orange but unfortunately it will only be released in Korea for now. We have no official statements on whether or when it will launch in other regions including US, Europe, etc. I. the meantime check out the video below to see the Pocket Photo in action.

Lets just stick to the Pogo printer for now, shall we? Do you think the LG Pocket is worth the extra $130?
